Note: I did not rank these players. I listed them as they came to my head.
Stephen Curry — Steph is having an unbelievable start to the season, averaging 33.0 points a game and he’s only had one game when he scored less than 30+. In his last “10” games he’s shooting .549% from the field. His assist aren’t that good (5.9) but he has always improved on those as the season progresses.
Giannis Antetokounmpo — The “Greek freak” has been nothing but phenomenal to start the season and carry the Bucks to an 7-1 record. In his last “10” he’s averaging 25 points a game. Giannis is quickly evolving into one of the deadliest three-point shooters in the league, also the way he attacks the rim kinda reminds me of LeBron James or James Harden.
Nikola Jokic — Jokic has become one of the NBA’s most ferocious big-men. He and the young tandem of Murray and Harris have carried the Nuggets to an 7-1 record. In his “10” preceding games, he’s averaging 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 dimes. Don’t forget about his ability to shoot the three and defend the paint.
Damian Lillard — “Dame Time” is upon us. Lillard has been the key focal point for Portland to get on track after an embarrassing postseason. POR has beaten the Lakers, Spurs, Pelicans, and Rockets and he’s been the one leading the “Charge.” Dame himself will tell you he’s been underrated or valued by most fans for years. Hopefully he can change that narrative and lead the Trailblazers deep into the Western Conference.
Kawhi Leonard — Toronto Raptor fans must still be shaking with excitement. Kawhi Leonard has shown us day in and out, why he is one of the top 4 players in the world. Averaging 27 points, 7 rebounds and 3 ast. Toronto has one of the most deepest benches in the NBA, which makes things even better. His Ability to shoot from anywhere on the court, and move with such quickness is breathtaking.
Kevin Durant — How could we forget KD? He has been BALLING. That’s the spectacle GS has been this season. Steph and Klay can fall off & KD will be right there to take over. He’s shooting .559% from the field with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 ast through “10” games. I truly believe that Durant is unguardable. I don’t know how he’s not leading anybody else’s MVP “Rankings.”
