The Miami Heat like others are offering relief to the victims who lost their home after a condo collapsed just after 2 A.M. in Surfside, FL.
The team sent multiple trucks loaded with food, water, clothes and other essential items for victims. Late Thursday afternoon multiple players, coaches and front office executives from the team visited ground “zero” to survey the damage and talk with local officials. WSVN reported that the team spoke with the mayor of surfside Charles Burkett and fire officials. Heat Vice-President Steve Stowe told ESPN: “This is 12 miles from our arena. When we heard about this our immediate reaction was we had to find a way to help.” You can donate to help the surfside victims below supportsurfside.org Comments are closed.
