With Head Coach Tyronn Lue being sick & F Kevin Love being activated the Cavs were at home to face off against the milwaukee bucks.
Kevin Love returned after missing the last 21 games with a broken bone in his left hand and scored 18 points in the Cavs' 124-117 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
LeBron James, well, he hasn't missed a game this season. He only scored 40 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his second straight triple double and third in the last four games.
Here's Kevin Love after the game speaking to Media about his return:
James has 16 triple doubles this season and 71 for his career, and his 40 points were the second most he's scored in a game this year.
The Bucks were led by 37 points and 11 rebounds by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has produced 30 points and 10 boards in three consecutive games.
"When you watch both Giannis and you watch Bron on the floor, I tell you, you can't -- you have to be focused at all times because Bron is a special, special player," said Larry Drew, the Cavs' acting head coach. "I mean, as special as probably you'll ever see. And Giannis is blooming into that. But watching a game like tonight you are sure fans are going to get their money's worth with them watching LB and watching Giannis."
Heading into the fourth quarter Cleveland led by as many as 17.
Cavs were going threw alot today after finding out Ty Lue would be stepping away to deal wit undiscloused illness. Larry Drew (Cavs assistant coach) is running the team until Coach Lue returns. Both Lue and the team believes that he will return as early as next week.
"I just needed to get one more (bone) scan," Love explained. "So, I got the scan this morning and I was just waiting on the word getting back from that and they told me depending on how I feel. I said listen I feel good, I'm going to play, so I wanted to kind of push that along and try to get as many games as I could underneath my belt. A little bit sloppy there, but I'll take a win in my first game back."
It's been a long time since Love last played. Heck, Tuesday marks two weeks since he disclosed his bouts with panic attacks.
